Respiratory viruses are common in the competition horse, particularly those that travel frequently and stay away. This product has been carefully designed with that in mind and is a targeted nutritional supplement to help support the horses respiratory and immune system to help keep them healthy, even during times of stress.

Ingredients and Nutrition

Vitamin C is an important antioxidant in lung health. Although horses can make their own Vitamin C, there are occasions where requirements increase, such as intense exercise or their ability to synthesise their own Vitamin C may be compromised or reduced.  During times of stress, such as illness or frequent travel, horses may need an additional dietary source of Vitamin C to meet these increased requirements. Vitamin C also plays a key role in collagen synthesis and is therefore important support for tendons and ligaments.

Vitamin E is a potent antioxidant that plays a vital role in many important functions in the body, including the immune system, reproduction and the correct functioning of the nerves and muscles. With a high level of Vitamin E per serve (5000mg), this provides strong support for muscle health and recovery.  

Beta Glucans from Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast provides beneficial immune-modulating molecules and supports the horse during times of stress, including travelling, intense competition and training. 

Selenium provided from a natural yeast source, is an important antioxidant trace element that plays a vital role in the correct functioning of the immune system and maintaining muscle health which is especially important in competition horses and ponies. The selenium levels in this product have been carefully formulated at a safe level when fed with most typical fortified diets.

Zinc plays an important role in the support of the immune system. The zinc levels in this product have been carefully formulated at a safe level to be fed with most typical fortified diets.  

Marshmallow plant extract provides additional natural immune and respiratory system support.

Rosemary is a potent plant-based antioxidant containing many bioactive compounds.
