Many of you will have read the recent findings from the FEI Tribunal relating to a positive dope test at the Olympics. As a supplement company and a proud member of independently audited feed safety schemes, we are saddened by this finding, and our sympathies are with the affected rider and her connections.
 
Our supplements are manufactured in the EU in state-of-the-art facilities, under the GMP+ Feed Certification scheme, to a strict code of feed safety, ensuring compliance with the current and relevant Veterinary legislation.
 
Our supplements are independently batch tested by two world-renowned testing facilities, Laboratoire Des Courses Hippiques (LCH) in France and Independent Equine Nutrition (IEN) in the UK to ensure products are safe and legal for competition and racing, to offer reassurance to all our customers.
 
The majority of the supplement industry, work extremely hard to prevent prohibited substances being present in their nutritional supplements, as demonstrated by the infrequent positive dope tests globally caused by supplements, especially when compared to other feed or forage sources.
 
As a responsible horse owner or rider, we recommend you choose your supplements extremely carefully, only feeding supplements manufactured by companies with the appropriate certifications and safeguards in place (e.g. GMP+ or BETA NOPS accreditation), which are often displayed on the supplement label with further details on the company website.
 
Here at Equine America we take Clean Sport extremely seriously, and we utilise every measure we can to reduce the risk of contamination by prohibited substances. Our supplements are manufactured in the highest standard accredited facilities, using innovative and effective ingredients sourced from approved and accredited suppliers, that have full traceability at all stages of our manufacturing process. Our supplements are never made or stored in facilities that handle pharmaceuticals (medicines) to ensure there is no opportunity for cross contamination.
