Exciting New Product From EA Nutra!
EA Nutra Buteless High Strength Solution combines the latest research in plant based anti-inflammatory compounds with traditional ingredients, and is designed to provide extra support and comfort to hardworking joints and muscles in performance horses and ponies.
Buteless High Strength Solution is also ideal for older horses, when years of wear and tear on joints can result in stiffness and discomfort.
This unique solution, combining Boswellia, Yucca and Marshmallow extracts, provides high levels of key anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds to support joint comfort:
Bowellia serrata: grows in the dry, mountainous regions of India, North Africa and the Middle East, and the resin from the Boswellia genus is also known as frankincense – which tells us a little about how long it has been considered a valuable resource! Boswellia has been used for centuries by native tribes as an anti-arthritic medicine, and recent research has now indicated that it is a group of compounds called boswellic acids that exhibit the anti-inflammatory properties for which boswellia is renowned. Furthermore, one of the boswellic acids, abbreviated to AKBA ( acetyl-11-keto-B-boswellic acid) has been shown in both human and animal studies to be the most active of these important anti-inflammatory compounds, and is thought to inhibit pro-inflammatory enzymes which are associated with cartilage breakdown and joint pain.
EA Nutra Buteless High Strength Solution contains a unique Boswellia extract, containing 78% AKBA – many times higher than conventional Boswellia extracts, providing an extremely high level of anti-inflammatory support.
Yucca schidigera: Has also been used as a medicinal plant for many years, in both humans and animals, and its main roles are thought to be anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Yucca contains several physiologically active phytochemicals (plant compounds) including polyphenolics, which are known to have anti-inflammatory activity. The phenolics are also antioxidants - free-radical scavengers – which may help to suppress compounds which can stimulate inflammation. Limited research has also suggested that another group of compounds found in yucca -the saponins – may exhibit anti-arthritic properties.
Marshmallow (Althea officinalis): is probably the plant from which the well-known confectionary treats were originally derived in the 19th century – mixing the sweet sap from the marshmallow root with egg whites and sugar. However, as well as a sweet sap, the marshmallow plant also contains a number of anti-inflammatory phytochemicals, which may help reduce joint swelling.
EA Nutra Buteless High Strength Solution is very palatable, and easy to mix fin feed. It is independently tested by two world-leading testing facilities, in the France and the UK, to ensure it is free from prohibited substances in accordance with FEI regulations, and when fed at the recommended rate, is safe for use in competition.
